![]() If it's taking about 15 minutes to duplicate a 250 MB file and I have 1.31 TB to duplicate I'm wondering if it'll finish in time for me to see it (I'm in my mid 60's! :-) ). The problem isn't any particular folder, it seems to be that as it's catching up with duplication it really is duplicating, just frustratingly slow. Go back to the first folder and sure enough the copytemp file is gone. After about 15 minutes it finishes with that folder and moves on to another, and I see a new file in that folder with random guid etc. I can see, by comparing reported file sizes, that it's a copy of a particular file in the same folder. ![]() When I switch to that folder there's a file named (random guid).copytemp where random guid really is just a random guid. ![]() If I hover over the bouncing bar at the bottom of the GUI I can see it's working on a particular folder in the Video area. And then it sits there for what feels like forever. However, after the measure, it goes into checking and at about the 25% point it starts trying to duplicate. It now reports (for a total pool size of 25.5 TB) the following when measure runs. So, even though the drive wasn't bad, I did the same. And then I think I shot myself in the foot! I've replaced bad drives a number of times over the years, and I've always done the immediate removal followed by automatic duplication and it's always worked. The entire array is set to duplication.Īt which point I decided to add a 4TB drive to DP and withdraw, one at a time, a pair of 2TB drives so I could assign them as a separate pool for use as a backup target folder. So I did the install, added appropriate drivers for my eSata cards etc, installed DP and up it comes. My motherboard recently died and it became time to move from DP on WHS2011 to DP on Server 2016 Essentials.

Best US Online Sweepstakes and Social CasinosĬruz Azul will be aiming to continue their resurgent run of recent form when they host the struggling Santos Laguna on Sunday night from the Estadio Azteca. These two teams have been on opposite ends of the form spectrum: Cruz Azul have won three of their last five games to pick up a total of 10 points in that period while Santos Laguna have lost four of their last five, which has left them reeling at the bottom of the Liga MX standings with just two points in six games. Juan Escobar opened the scoring in the seventh minute but Toluca equalized shortly after.Ī more open second half resulted in plenty of gaps in the final third as Carlos Alberto Rodriguez broke the deadlock in the 64th minute before Santiago Gimenez closed the game with a late brace.Ĭruz Azul Thrash TolucaĬruz Azul were nowhere near their best but still managed to find enough offensive depth and rhythm to cruise past Toluca on the road 4-1. Impressively, Cruz Azul were able to dominate the game despite failing to find efficiency in key offensive metrics.Ĭruz Azul had a passing accuracy of just 75 percent as they completed 332 passes. In terms of possession, they had just 47 percent of the ball but were significantly better in their transition from defense into the final third.Ĭruz Azul had a high conversion rate of shots taken to shots on goal (11 shots taken, 5 on target). If you extrapolate some of this offensive efficiency over the course of a season, you will see why Cruz Azul have been so successful. They have scored 11 goals in six games this season. Only six teams have scored 10 or more goals this season. In a slow-moving league like the Liga MX, a strong offensive core can create a point of differentiation.ĭefensively, Cruz Azul have still managed to stay compact at the back, conceding six goals at an average of one per game. That has resulted in a goal difference of +6, which is second-best in the Liga MX. If Cruz Azul can maintain this effectiveness on either end of the soccer pitch, then Santos Laguna are simply no match in this game. Santos Laguna are the only team in the Liga MX not to have won a single game this season. That is usually a recipe for disaster irrespective of the standard of a league. Santos Laguna have drawn two and lost four to pick up just two points this season, which has left them reeling at the bottom of the Liga MX standings. There were signs of defensive solidity coming back to their game in a goalless draw against Juarez on the road in their previous game. Santos Laguna were able to ensure that Juarez failed to find even one shot on target. Offensively, they had 11 shots with three on target in that game. While there were some promising signs in that game, it also showed the flip side where Santos Laguna were simply unable to break down a team in the final third despite having several metrics in their favor. Santos Laguna have the joint worst defensive record this season. They have conceded 13 goals in six games, equal to a rash Club America unit. However, with only six goals scored, they have the worst goal difference in the league at -7. The eight envelopes are used in a semi-random drawing process (orange arrow, B), which involves another set of QR codes and random number generation, see Appendix 1-figure 1 for details. This result suggests that the observed benefits are not caused by the microdose, but rather by psychological expectations. The findings confirmed positive anecdotes about microdosing improving people’s moods, but at the same time show that taking empty capsules, knowing they might be microdoses, have the same benefits. However, participants taking placebo also improved: there were no significant differences between the two groups. The team found that microdosing significantly increased a number of psychological measures, such as well-being and life satisfaction. The trial examined whether psychedelic microdosing can improve cognitive function and psychological well-being. Restrictive drug policies make placebo-controlled studies on psychedelics difficult and expensive, in particular for microdosing, which involves taking psychedelics over a longer time period. For example, in trials of mood medicines, participants often expect to feel happier, which in itself improves their mood even when taking a placebo. This control ensures that observed effects are due to the drug itself and not to unrelated psychological causes. Crucially, neither group knows whether they are taking drug or placebo. ![]() A key feature of modern medicine are ‘placebo control’ studies that compare two groups of patients: one that takes a drug and another that takes inactive pills, known as placebos. Unlike taking large doses of psychedelics, microdosing does not induce hallucinations, but anecdotal reports suggest that it yields similar benefits as psychedelic therapy. Recently, ‘microdosing’ – a way of administering psychedelics that involves taking about 10% of a recreational dose two or three times per week – has gained popularity. For this reason, trials on psychedelic therapy for the treatment of depression, addiction and other conditions are ongoing. Obsidian sources in Mesoamerica are limited in number and distribution, and are restricted to the volcanic regions of the Sierra Madre Mountains as they run through Mexico and Guatemala. Map showing the locations of some of the main obsidian sources in Mesoamerica Other curation techniques of prismatic blades involve reshaping them into other tool types, such as projectile points and awls. In other words, as the edge of a blade lost its sharpness after long-term use, the blade may have been used in scraping activities, which does not require a very sharp edge, than as a cutting implement. While prismatic blades were generally not curated (in the traditional sense) due to their small size, utility of the tools may have been maintained by changing their function. As a result, tool curation through edge-rejuvenation and/or re sharpening was commonly used on larger-mass tools, such as bifaces, to prolong the tool's (and the raw material's) utility. It is in this manner: First they get out a knife stone (obsidian core) which is black like jet and 20 cm or slightly less in length, and they make it cylindrical and as thick as the calf of the leg, and they place the stone between the feet, and with a stick apply force to the edges of the stone, and at every push they give a little knife springs off with its edges like those of a razor." Īs the distribution of obsidian sources in Mesoamerica is generally limited, many areas and sites lacked a local obsidian source or direct access to one. Motolinia, a 16th-century Spanish observer, left this account of prismatic blade production: Modern attempts to redesign production techniques are heavily based on Spanish records and accounts of witnessed obsidian knapping. Prismatic blade production, a technique employing a pressure flaking-like technique that removed blades from a polyhedral core, was ubiquitous throughout Mesoamerica. The use of pecking, grinding, and carving techniques may also be employed to produce figurines, jewelry, eccentrics, or other types of objects. It is obtained by either quarrying source sites or in nodule form from riverbeds or fractured outcrops.įollowing the removal of cortex (when applicable), bifacial, unifacial, and expedient flake stone tools could be produced through lithic reduction.
